Two afternoons are set aside each week for our activity lessons. This is designed to provide opportunities for you to use your conversational English. Besides these lessons we organise regular weekend trips and evening outings. Enjoy a great social life with other students and with Australians.

You can participate in sporting, social, recreational and sightseeing trips. Visit Hervey Bay to see the whales and world famous Fraser Island, or enjoy a BBQ with your friends. Scuba diving, surfing, swimming, sailing, golf, horse riding, tennis, fishing - and many more activities - are available all year round.

Group Study Tours

Short courses for groups are offered by the College and include a combination of English language and sporting, cultural, sightseeing, technical and special interest groups. Duration 1-4 weeks.

Sunshine Coast English College includes two afternoons of activities per week in the program. That is a time when you can have fun while learning. You can meet and speak with local Noosa businesses, community services and groups, to practice your English conversation and interview techniques as well as improve listening skills. Another afternoon is filled with recreation, culture and sport. You can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities which you may not have the opportunity to experience in your own country. Discover new talents and interests, for example, horse riding, surfing, sailing, rock climbing, snorkeling, camel riding, golf, jet skiing, hang gliding, and more...while practising English.
