PRIVACY POLICY

All the information submitted to Sunshine Coast English College is only used for internal administrative purposes and is not being passed to a third party unless required by law. The College receives no details on your credit card as the information is received directly by the bank. We only receive a confirmation of your payment.


CONDITIONS

By submitting the enrolment form and payment to Sunshine Coast English College I confirm that I have read and accepted the Refund Policy outlined above and agree to the following:

  1. I agree to waive and release all claims against Sunshine Coast English College (SCEC) and its appointed agents for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay or expense resulting from my participation in the programs. I also release SCEC and their agents and agree to indemnify SCEC and their agents with regard to any financial obligations or liabilities that I may personally incur or any damage or injury to the person or property of others that I may cause while enrolled in these courses. I accept that SCEC and their agents are not responsible for any injury or loss suffered by me during periods of independent travel or absence from the enrolled courses.
  2. If I become ill, injured, or incapacitated, SCEC, its appointed agents, or the host family may take such action as any of them considers necessary, including securing medical treatment for me and transporting me back to my country at my expense. I release them from all liability related to such actions.
  3. I accept that my participation in the programs may be terminated at the sole discretion of SCEC and its appointed agents without a refund of fees and that I may be sent home at my own expense if I do not adhere to their rules, standards, and instructions. I agree that Australian law shall apply to this agreement and I agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Australian law.


REFUND POLICY
  • All fees (excluding the enrolment fee) will be fully refunded if your visa application is rejected.
  • All fees (excluding the enrolment fee and the accommodation placement fee) will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received 28 days before the commencement of your course.
  • If notice of cancellation is received less than 28 days before the commencement of your course, all fees (excluding the enrolment fee and the accommodation placement fee) will be refunded less 28 days course fees.
  • If the College is unable to provide the course in which you have enrolled, and cannot provide you with an acceptable alternative course, all remaining fees (excluding enrolment fee) will be refunded
  • No refund will be made after the commencement of the course.
IF YOU ARE ENTITLED TO A REFUND
  • Write to the college requesting a refund.
  • The college will refund your fees within two weeks from the date we recieve your written request.
This agreement does not remove the right to take further action under Australia's Consumer Protection Laws.
The College dispute resolution process does not circumscribe the student's right to pursue other legal remedies.
